What is the MOST that eHiring will cost me for one job? The very most would be our one time use $99.00 standard rate. However, you can save money by pre-purchasing multiple eHiring job credits lowering your cost to $69 per job. How much time does the typical company save using eHiring? A typical newspaper advertisement receives 75 applicants. Using the old fashion "scan and review all resume" process you would spend approximately 4 minutes per resume or 5 hours in the initial scan. However with eHiring you would typically only review the top 15 resumes saving you 80% of your initial review time. Additionally, you would have learned 95% more information about the likelihood of that candidate fitting your requirements since the candidate would have answered your main questions already. Of the 75 resumes received, you would typically screen the list down to your top 15 candidates and then call all 15 to ask your initial screening questions. These first pre-screening phone calls usually take at a minimum 10 minutes each. Using eHiring your candidates are already pre-screened prior to the candidate submitting their resume saving you an additional 2.5 hours. Once you have pre-screened your top 15 candidates you then decide on the 7-10 candidates to interview. The eHiring system streamlines the interviewing process by focusing all internal interviewer communications through the eHiring system in order to keep all data in one efficient, convenient location. Overall, the eHiring system will save you 6.5 hours of screening related tasks when you receive 75 applications for a job. More importantly, what generally takes 7 days from receiving the final incoming resume to screening and reviewing candidates (making time to review all resumes, create notes, make phone calls, etc.) can be reduced down to one day so you can quickly communicate with your best candidate prospects before your competition has a chance to hire them first. Remember, when trying to hire the best candidate for your company ALL other companies looking to hire your top candidates are your direct competition. What is the most expensive part of hiring an employee? A common misconception is that the advertisement cost is the most expensive part of hiring an employee. In reality, the most expensive part of hiring a new employee is the screening and interviewing process. Even small companies need to link a cost to the screening and interviewing process and without the eHiring system a typical hiring manager would spend approximately 1 hour screening every 10 resumes received (typically rejecting 90% of the resume after reading them and communicating with 10% of the candidates either by phone or in person meetings). Without eHiring, in a typical 75 applicant process you would spend 5 hours reviewing resumes at a loaded cost of $40 per hour ($200), 2.5 hours making telephone calls to candidates ($100), 15 hours interviewing 5 candidates using 3 company interviewers each at $50 per interview ($750), and then 3 hours communicating with the interviewing managers at $100 per hour ($300). Using this formula, the typical 75 applicant process can cost your company in excess of $1300 dollars which is much higher than the typical cost of a newspaper or job board advertisement. Security eHiring understands how important your company data is. All of our systems are backed up to an off site data center in real time assuring zero data loss in the unlikely event of a catastrophic event at our primary location. Similarly, all sensitive data is encrypted in our system using RSA encryption. Finally, eHiring utilizes SSL security to ensure that none of your billing data can be intercepted while you are online. Money-Back-Guarantee e-hiring.com is so confident that our services will meet and exceed your expectations that we provide a money back guarantee on each job you purchase from us. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any job you list with our service we will refund the job purchase fee. Our restrictions on this offer are that you must notify us within 10 days of the eHiring job closing date, you can only request a refund on one job during any given 45 day period, and that you provide a detailed explanation as to why you were dissatisfied so we can improve our services, procedures and offerings to better meet our clients needs. How long does it take to sign up with eHiring? The eHiring system is a self-service system allowing you to begin the sign up process with eHiring at any time. Our new company setup wizard walks you through each step in the setup process with each step having detailed help instructions in case you get lost. In the unlikely event that you need help in setting up your company, the eHiring support staff is standing by to provide you with any assistance you need. Typically a company can be setup in the eHiring system in less than 10 minutes. Once signed up, how long does it take to create a new job? Similar to our company setup wizard, the eHiring system also utilizes a new job setup wizard. This wizard walks you through each step in creating a job on the eHiring system. Assuming you already know your job's description, requirements, and pre-screening questions a new job can be created inside the eHiring system in less than 10 minutes. How many questions should I list in my pre-screening questionnaire? eHiring suggests no fewer than 6 questions and no more than 15 questions (yet some clients have listed as many as 30 questions). Too few questions will not provide you enough comparison to eliminate enough candidates and too many questions may chase away some candidates from completing your questionnaire. I'm afraid the questionnaire will chase away my best candidates. This is generally the opposite of what happens. The best candidates appreciate a company that is thorough, consistent, and efficient. Candidates that are not willing to spend 10 minutes carefully filling out your questionnaire possibly are not the best candidates to be running important processes or departments within your company. You are investing a lot of time and money to hire the best candidates and you deserve candidates that are thorough and competent. How many interview managers can I use for a job? There is no limit to the number of interview managers that can participate in the hiring process for any job. However, due to the internal eHiring security system, only 1 person (the job's hiring manager) can view and communicate with the candidates. Interview managers' sole responsibility is to interview candidates and report back to the hiring manager with their comments on the candidate. How many hiring managers can I assign under my company? Unlike many of our competitors systems which cost by the user, the eHiring system takes a completely different approach and charges by the job. Because of this you can enter an unlimited number of interview or hiring managers into your eHiring account at no additional charge. Is the service available 24/7? Yes, the eHiring system is available 24/7. In fact eHiring locates our servers in multiple locations across the U.S. This ensures that any catastrophic event (lightening strike, flood, fire, etc...) which might take place at one location will not affect the eHiring service. If I have a problem how can I get assistance? eHiring makes customer service our top priority. Once inside the eHiring application, if you require assistance you can click on the "contact us" link at the top of every page with your questions. eHiring guarantees a 4 hour response time during business hours. What if I do not finish my hiring process within the allotted time frame? The eHiring system use a job credits pricing model for our services. Once assigned to a job, each job credit extends your job's resume acceptance time, and eHiring job active time, by a certain number of days. If you require additional time for your job, you simply assign an additional job credit to your job. As a reference, the $99 dollar job credit allows you 14 days to accept resumes, and 60 days in total time to hire your employee. Can I mail out rejection letters instead of sending e-mail rejections? Yes, eHiring allows you to print rejection letters on your local printer. Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download here) is required for this feature. Can I close a job without hiring anyone? Yes, in the eHiring system this is called "abandoning a job". Assuming that you still have time credit left, with an abandoned job you can always reopen the job at a later time. If I am running the same or a similar job can I re-use a prior job's pre-screening questions? Yes, with eHiring you can save a job's pre-screening questions into a questionnaire that can be applied to a different job in the future. In fact, if you so choose, you can make your questionnaire public so that other members of your company can use your questions. We are running an advertisement to replace an 'existing' employee, can we hide our company info? Yes, with e-hiring.com you can create a shell company with a generic name and have all your applicant prospects communicate with you through the eHiring private message board system shielding your company name, your name, your e-mail address, etc. Do I have to sign a contract to use eHiring? No, eHiring uses a pay as you go model so you would just have to provide your credit card information to pay for a single job and never worry about ongoing charges. Can I use the eHiring system to screen for internal jobs? Yes, we have many clients that utilize our service for both their internal jobs as well as external jobs. You would just create the job like any other job and post the eHiring link with your internal job posting. |
